hi guys,

i am building my new machine and I like you to check and evaluate it. I don't want to spend too much and I am not into OC. So, here it is :

- Msi Neo-F chipset Intel 965
- Intel Core2Duo 6400
- Corsair 1gb 667mhz NON ECC - 240 Pin - CAS Latency 5
- Maxtor Sata-II 160gb
- Xfx Nvidia 7600gt 256mb (waiting to move to directx10)

So, any hint ?

thanks for the attention
bye

Looks good to me man. One thing though, is you 1GB a single module or are you going to run 2x512 in Dual Channel? I'd rather have the dual channel, but if you plan on buying a nother 1 gig stick, then yeah, all looks good.

I'd get 2gb of ram if possible, it will pay off [unless you are waiting to get money for another module]
But it looks good to me.

I am going to use a single 1gb stick beacause I plan to buy another one within first semester

Most people would prefer to know what you're using your system for before making any recommendations... just a thought :)

You're right. I will use mostly office applications, some good game (I like fps!) and p2p.
But I enjoy watching movies and listen at music too.
