I would like to know if its possible to block a program using the router.. I am using the router to connect my 3 pc's once including my friends.. I want to stop DC++ from accessing the net and lan.. Is there a way of doing it?? PLease let me know at the earliest..

If your router is capable of filtering, then set a filter to block out the layer 3 and layer 4 address...

Thanks for the response, but i dont think so my router is capable of filtering though I can set a firewall and it has integrated support for zone alarm.. I am a newb at all this I wld appreciate it a lot if you could explicit the method slightly, or atleast point me in the right direction..

EDit : ok my bad after enabling the firewall i did find some advanced options only i cant make a head or tail out of em.. There is some filtering option but i cant quite figure it out..
