Windows 7 no sound

I have just installed Windows 7 upgrade from Win XP PRO sp3. My mother board says that I have an integrated Realtek ALC888S chip set.

The Device Manager shows two "High Definition Audio Devices" but nothing about the Realtek thing. There are no yellow "!"

Is there a new driver for Windows 7? Or, What?

TIA

I should have indicated: This is a MSI 785 G7ME45 Motherboard.

Thanks Again

You will need to install the Windows7 driver for your sound chip as the Windows XP ones will not work. If you can’t get the proper Windows 7 ones then you can try the Vista drivers. This is based not on my experience of this sound chip or motherboard but of installing Windows 7 in general.

As pjmelect said, you will need to get the Windows 7 drivers (or Vista if Windows 7 specific drivers are not available) for the onboard sound. Start with MSI's website. They should have the drivers you need.

XP drivers won't work because the driver model Microsoft uses completely changed as of Windows Vista. Trying to load XP drivers into a Vista or 7 system will simply fail.
