I tried downloading a driver for my X1800 XL and it does not seem to work. After I uncompress it and it asks me if i want to have an "express" or "custom" install, it continues to load and gives me these following messages:
and then this:
I have already done the following:
-Remove the ATI uninstall utility
-Run Driver cleaner 3.3
My system setup is:
Intel Core 2 duo E6400 2.13
Asus P5W DH deluxe
Kingston DDR2 PC6400 667 1GB
Seagate 320gb 7200.10 SATA 2
Enermax Liberty 500w
Enermax Charkra
Windows XP pro SP2
By saying uncompress, I presume your using something other than the exe driver from ATI? Best would be the official drivers from ATi
I've seen the same error on my pc, but that occurs in Virtual PC as there is no "virtual" Radeon card connected. Hence it can't see a gcard. What does device manager say? Can you see the gcard there?
