For an 8800GTX SLI, would I need the Silverstone ST75ZF or would the SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus SS-650HT be acceptable?

Also, how does the Silverstone ST75ZF compare to the Seasonic S12 Energy Plus SS-650HT in terms of noise/quietness?

Thanks.

Ok but what about if I decided not to do the SLI and just got a single 8800GTX? Would the SeaSonic be a good choice in that case?

Also, would you mind expounding on why you prefer the SeaSonic over the Silverstone?

I got my finger hovering over the "buy" button. Thanks for your input.

34 amperes x 12 volts = 408 watts.

A 8800GTX doesn't load 408 watts.

SLI config: 408 x 2 = 816 watts. Absolutely false.

Please, can you stop to confusing people? 5915 Posts for what?

Seasonic is the best PSU on the market.

A SeaSonic SS-650HT with a 85% efficiency is your best option.

According to the datasheet--http://www.seasonic.com/pdf/datasheet/01PC/SS-650-550HT(S12+).pdf--the S12 Energy+ 650 has 52A across the +12v rails...

And I did the PSU calculator thing. It said my system would require 600W.

You are magic.

Before: 34 amperes and now: 16 amperes.

The numbers like to dancing around you.

That guy was requesting info to purchase (namely spend money from his own pocket) a product, and somebody was confusing him, maybe thinking that can write anything.

And can you stop to send me arrogants private messages insulting me?
