Hi, i have a Dual xeon 2ghz 256ghz system and im still suprised i can still run new game on it withou problem. I have also a amd 3200+ but i want to upgrade to a new system. My question is , does it would work if i put only 1 processor 5030,5050 (one of those) or those cpu need 2 to work, and compared to C2D 6300 what would be the choice for performance for gaming mostly and 3D animation.

I'd like to see somebody try to jam a 3xxx series xeon into a LGA771 socket. Theres no reason to get a 3xxx xeon unless your planning on some serious oc'ing. There just regular C2D's that have been binned higher.

1207 man!

So my best choice would be get a E6300. I tough getting 2 cpu Dual Core , i would get 4 core and would be great for rendering 3D and for upcoming games ( Multi Core). But i guess the E6300 would be overall better even if my computer is open 16h each day ?

Hmm, the 5120 would be cheaper since you would only have to get the cpu, with the E6600 you would have to get a new mobo and possibly new ram, but the E6600 will be you much better performance. I would say go with the E6600.
