I'm considering one of these but I see both model numbers and can't tell
which is preferable. Can someone point me to a site where the differences
are explained or 'plain it to me.

I believe the only change is the color of the surrounding bezel - black or
silver. I had the 5065, many out of sync issues - if you don't know about
this, find out 1st. I returned my set, got a Sony. it IS AN ISSUE.
