thats what their site says, but who knows
  2. NO it does not support DirectX 10 but it will run on windows vista
  3. the 1950Pro wont support DX10, nor will it ever.

For the moment the only GPUs that support DX10 are the GeForce 8800 series.

However, you don't need a DX10 chip to run vista.
  4. For a card to display full DirectX10 quality it needs support for up to shader model 4.0. That x1950pro can only support SM3.0.
  5. Its Vista capable but not s DX10 card. 8800's and soon to be R600 only ones to support SHDR 4.0 and DX10

"Support for Microsoft DirectX 10 & Shader Model 3.0"

    notice it says "support"
  6. DX10 won't fully run.

Not to mention the core can't do SM4 and DX10.
  7. That´s still a damn good buy! It got 16 Pipes and 48 Shaders. That´s not a 1950 Pro but an underclocked 1950XT!

Most likely they got their info wrong. 8O

It won't look any "prettier" with a DX10 card and DX10 installed.
  11. the only thing that you will get from putting a DX10 card in is the abilty to play DX10 enabled games such as Crysis and Flight Simulator X. a DX10 GPU will not really affect vista performance.
