965P-DQ6 & EasyTune 5 - what is System Temp?

Hey all
A quick question.

In easy tune it reports my system temp often 10-15C above CPU. At the moment I have a probe in the case measuring just behind Zalman 9500 air intake It meaures 27C & EasyTune = 47C.

Is it measuring something else like NB? Or is it just totally *&%^?

The system temp, correct me if I'm wrong, is the northbridge temp, use speedfan as well as easytune to check temperature.

BTW I woudln't use easytune to measure CPU temps, with my conroe it measures it 5-10c cooler than TAT and Coretemp...
