How do you assign programs to each core of a dual core?

Hi,

I remember reading somewhere of a way to specify to the a multicore processor which core to use for specific tasks, but now I cant remember how or where I read it! If anyone could tell me it would be greatly appreciated, been searching for ages!

With XP's Taskmanager you can set the Affinity.

Press Control + Alt + Del (or Start Menu/Run/taskmgr), go to the processes tab, right click the process of your choice, select Set Affinity.
