haha, you could run wow on a 7300gt and not notice the difference from a 7900gs (depending on the size monitor). Seriously.. you dont need alot of this stuff if you are JUST going to be playing those games. Unless you are open to newer games then sure, by all means keep em.

A $600 budget system is sufficient enough for your needs. IMO that system is an overkill.

anyway, you shouldn't have any problems with your choices of pc parts.

edited the first post, this is my final set-up but I need some opinions about it. Are the parts compatible with each other?

Yes they are compatible, but for WoW, that is overkill. Anyway, that same case is 29.99 at CompUsa I think. That DVD drive sucks, trust me, I have it. The first review on Newegg is what I would write.

Have to agree with phamily in that it does look like overkill for what you'll be doing. You can get a BFG 7600GT for about $103 with a rebate and it's supposed to be a good "entry-level" gaming card. You could save some on the case with something like an Antec Sonata II or other comparable Antec, they put good PSUs in their caises. That's an awful big hard drive unless you doing videos have a boatload of music and photos. MIght be better off with 2 smaller ones, something like a 60GB or 80GB for the OS and programs and 250GB for storage. If you don't have a lot of music or photos, you could go with 160GB. If you're OK with the money, looks like a nice setup

Hmm I think I might also play some CS:S on my computer so I think I'll stick with the gfx card and I also want to stick with the storage because I store a lot of music and movies on my harddrive. As for the case, I'll take a look at the price at CompUSA. Other than that, thanks for the feedbacks guys.

You're right the same case is 29.99 after a $40 dollar rebate. Thanks for the heads up :D.

You'd be much better off going through newegg for an Antec, a lot cheaper. Both NEC and Lite-On make could drives and you can get them for about $30, again at newegg
