Does windows 7 ultimate support only latest softwares.....???

Windows 7 supports almost every 32-bit (and 64-bit, for the 64-bit version Windows) application program - everything that runs on Windows XP will almost certainly work on Windows 7. The only exceptions are device drivers - if you have a very old video card, scanner, printer etc. then you should check for the availability of 64-bit drivers for it.

Of course not. And u have also compatibility mode, so u can try different way if something doesn't work. Most softwares will be fine.
