I need a video card which can handle the Vista Aero Glass interface without problem. I don't do much, if any, gaming. The only games I can see myself getting anytime soon are C&C Tiberium Wars and Supreme Commander. What would be a good, inexpensive, card which would meet these needs? As for the games, I only have a 17 inch monitor so playing them at the highest resolutions is not an issue. Preferably I'd like to spend under $200 canadian.

Would any of these do the trick?
-HIS Radeon X1650 XT iSilence 256mb GDDR3 - $176.99
-Asus Extreme 7600GS Silent 256mb DDR2 - $124.99
-Asus Extreme 7600GT 256Mb DDR3 - $174.99
-Sapphire Radeon X1600XT 256Mb GDDR3 - $144.99
-Sapphire Radeon X1600Pro HDMI 256Mb DDR2 - $169.99

Am I going to have to spend more? Or is there somewhere to get better cards for the same price? Thanks for the help.

You can find some X1950Pros for under $200, much better than any on the list.

Out of stock though.

$209 after mail-in rebate. Good price too, and in stock.

Thanks, didn't even know that place existed. Which one of those do you recommend?

If you're not in a hurry, wait for the X1950Pro.

I think this is a decent card for the price, althought it is a mail in rebate.

7600gt its on for 129.98 until tomorrow or 135 until the end of the month.

All of these cards are coming way down in price :)

I believe these cards do not require an extra power cable as the X1950 does.

X1950 PRO $189.99.
This should do the trick.

If only NewEgg shipped to Canada ... sigh... :(

If C&C Tiberium runs anything like EA's website for it, you're in for a lot of grief and pain regardless of which car you choose.

Out of the cards you listed, the X1650XT is the best choice, but as the others have said, look around for cheaper versions.
