It seems all HDTV sets are at least 27 inches or bigger. Is this
because HD really isn't necessary for small TV sets?
But Sharp and Samsung have some new 15 inch and 17 inch LCD TV sets
with or without the HDTV feature. At CircuitCity, the oens with HDTV
cost exactly $100 more. Would you say it's not important to have
HDTV when the set is only 15 or 17 inch?

It depends on how far you sit from the TV. I have an HDTV card in my
computer, so I can watch HDTV on my 18" LCD monitor. The picture quality is
*breathtaking*, but that's partly because I am sitting only 2 feet away from
the screen! If I were sitting at a typical television distance such as 5
feet, the HD detail would probably be almost useless.

Im curious.... which HD card do you have in your PC?

decode American high-definition cable television (QAM). The card that does
