Hi I have been building computers for awhile and I have to say that my so ca
lled ultimate machine is really starting to tick me off.
-Hardware Setup-
MSI P965 Neo MotherBoard
DDR2 XMS Conair Ram 5-5-5-15
2.4 Ghz Core2 Duo
600 Watt Powersupply
Attequet Cooling
1 120gb SATA harddrive
Radeon X850xt
-Symtoms-
Anything I install through a CD on this computer takes twice as long as on a
ny other computer. (Ex. 5 Mins normal up to 90-120 minutes on this computer)
In some games (Ex. Battle For Middle Earth 2) MY game just randomly slows do
wn, not it slows down in spurts, sometimes when the screen is full of units
and other times when it is completely void of units. (Its completely random
some times I can play with 150+ units on the screen with no lag) Then when I
play games like Bf2142, I can play it at max and have no problems what so e
ver.
Its really strange because my so called gaming machine is running slower than an AMD 2800+ NOT overclocked!....
-Not only does my video slow down but my sound also slows down. (Ex. The sou
nd that you hear when people are downloaded into the matrix. Well thats all
you hear when something is playing on my computer.)
-My Ideas-
Is it my motherboard, Ram, Processor. Because Im sick of my "Ultimate Machin
e" running like a 1.4 ghz dell.
