I have a Axim x50v PPC. The wife has a Sony Clie. Would beaming work
between the two of us? Or to any PlamOS device?

Thanks,
Babboo

Beaming should work... it's slow and the range is short... a few inches.

Personally, think you would have more success with a filesync program on
the pc that maintained an exchange folder in each person's sync location.

what slots does the clie offer?

Bit more complicated however, or so I've found, in that you need a
suitable Beam program on the Clie such as BeamPro in order to beam
datafiles etc to the PPC.
