Is the Quadro FX 4500 512 Ram Vista compatible?
Im getting this card for 3D Studio and Maya modelling and rendering and have built a nice setup but need a Video card that will work smoothly in Vista Ultimate.

Of course the card is compatible - the hardware will run fine. As to the drivers... - have you checked the Nvidia site?

Forgot to post my setup. Please no flaming or telling me off that C2D is so much better.

M2N32 SLI Wifi edition Mobo
850 W OCZ PSU
2 X 320GB SATA HDD
Sony 18 X DL dvd burner SATA
Microsoft Vista Ultimate Upgrade(preordered)
Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate (preordered)
Microsoft 7000 Keyboard w/mouse (included in Vista/office bundle preorder)(yeah i know 8000 is wireless but i dont find it helpful on two 19 " lcd monitors.(yeah i have those from before)
Need to buy before setup is complete
AM2 5400/5600 or 6000
2 GB DDR 6400 (brand doesnt matter much)
A Video card that can do DX10(leaning towards 8800 GTS or R600 for gaming and everything else i do when i dont program/model or render stuff.

Well, they beat me to it, but yes, the Quadro FX 4500 IS Vista-compatible. Btw, kudos, that is a BAD@$$ card to have for what you're doing.

Well im just lucky to be at the right place at the right time.. got the card for 200 CDN when its valued at 12-1670 US

Can you hook me up with like... a 5500 FX? I wouldn't mind that with Maya... and I've got my 8800GTX on the way for gaming... and... BIG SCREENS.
