Black Screen

I just built a system, everything seems to work, motherboard
lights up showing power. fan on cpu runs, led lights go on, cooling fans run, DVD rom tray opens and closes and I know the monitor works -- I'm using it now. When I powered my system up tho, I heard no beeps and nothing appeared on the monitor. I have gotton so close to a working computer but something is still not right. I would appreciate any suggestions. Here is my system:

There's a difference between no signal & blank/black screen. I can make a screensaver that blanks the screen. I take it you mean no video signal.

Take everything out of the case, build the barebone with mobo, cpu, cpu fan, video & ram, connect BOTH 24-pin & 4-pin power cables, keybard, video & power cord, short the PWRSW (power switch) pins with the tip of a ballpen.

Unplug everything, remove battery, clear cmos, try again.
