Hi everyone!

My System currently consists of:

Core Duo E6600
Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi (latest Bios)
Corsair DIMM XMS2 Kit 2048MB 800MHz (5-5-5-12)
Gigabyte Galaxy II Watercooling

I have the problem that it doesn´t matter if I raise FSB to 400 MHz in my Bios. No matter what FSB I select, the maximum clockspeed is allways 3000 MHz, that would be a FSB of just 333!
Vcore is at 1,375
It seems like that there is some kind of limit....

Can anyone help please.

Sorry for my bad English, I´m no native speaker...

Kind regards,

Philip

Thanks for your fast reply!

What I wanted to say is, that it doesn´t matter what FSP I put into that field in bios, I could write 650 MHz and he won´t take it.
My aim was to reach 3,15 GHz but when I write a FSB of 350 MHz it results in a clockspeed of 3GHz and that would be a FSB of 333.
I don´t know why my mobo won´t take higher FSBs than 333.....any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Philip
