I'm looking for the best memory for overclocking a QX6700 to around 3.3Ghz. I'm completely new to overclocking and probably have more money than sence.

I believe the SLI Enhanced preformance profile feature of this memory makes it easier to overclock but will it work with an ABIT IN9 32X-MAX WiFi, nForce-680i SLI. On the manufacturers web site it only mentions nforce-590 compatibility.

I'm not sure about voltages memory timings and all that and i don't want to end up damaging my expensive kit. So is it worth spending the extra money on this memory and being safe or should i go for cheaper memory and over clock it myself with the extra risk.

Also is an 850W psu enough for overclocking this system.

Here is the complete system I'm thinking about going for.

- NZXT LEXA Black Aluminium Chassi, Screwless design, (Without PSU)
- LG DVD Drive, GDR-8164RBB, 16x52, Black OEM
- LG DVD±RW burner, GSA-H12LRB, 18x, Dual, LightScribe, Black Retail
- Thermaltake Blue Orb II CPU Cooler, Blue Light, 17dBA Socket 775/754/939/940
- Point of View GeForce 8800GTX 768MB, GDDR3, PCI-Express, DVI/Tv-Out, Retail
- Western Digital Raptor 150GB SATA 16MB 10000RPM (x 2)
- ABIT IN9 32X-MAX WiFi, nForce-680i SLI, Socket-775,ATX,2xGbLAN,DDR2,2xPCI-Ex16
- OCZ DDR2 PC7200 2048MB KIT, nVIDIA SLI™- Ready Edition, (CL4-4-3-15)
- Razer Tarantula Gaming Keyboard, US-Layout
- Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue, 2000dpi Laser Mouse, USB
- OCZ Technology Powersupply ATX/EPS 850W, 120mm Fan, SATA, 4/8pin CPU, 20/24pin
- Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 2.67GHz Socket LGA775, 8MB, BOXED w/fan

As you can probably work out I'm going for a blue theme.

Both the OCZ-7200 and 8500 use Micron D9 chips in the memory, and AFAIK both use specifically D9GMH. GMH will overclock like mad, so either memory sticks should give you great overclocks. Personally I'd go with the 7200 since it has CL4 timings, whereas the 8500 has CL5. The 7200 should still give great overclocks, and at lower timings to boot.

So I'd say get the 7200 sticks.

And yes, an 850w PSU is more than enough power.
