Audigy 2 ZS and X-Fi front interface box

Hi,

I have an Audigy 2ZS with the front panel interface on my current PC. I am looking to replace this PC with a new build and want to take the front interface box and use it with a new X-Fi card. Can I do this?

I found this on the Creative forum. So for those of you who want to upgrade your Audigy 2 series with a front bay IO to an XFi, you can save some dough.

Contrary to what was posted, the Audigy 2 ZS I/O drive works PERFECTLY with the X-fi. The pinout is exactly the same. The only issue is that Creative does not support it, obviously, because they want you to spend even more money and get the X-fi Platinum.
