Hey there,

My Computer is hooked to an Edimax Router model 6104K, everything works fine excpet that I can't connect to my friends computers through remote access (to help them with something) - I tried to use NetMeeting, MSN Messenger, RADMIN, but to no avail. I also disabled the built-in firewall and Windows firewall - and still, no luck. My guess is there's somothing I have to do with the NAT settings. Can anyone help me please?

Actually, I'd bet it has more to do with NAT on his end if he's using it. For whatever app you're using, check the manual or FAQs to see if it lists the ports it uses and any special steps you need to take to use it with NAT.

I would also make sure there aren't any ISP firewalls up. I couldn't remotely access my computer until I realized my ISP blocked many ports I was trying to access.
