Hi all. I've been searching a while for a NAS unit that provides local network users with windows shares and external users with some form of secure file transfer service, with no joy. To create a solution I've just bought and hacked a Linksys NSLU2 (with external HDD+enclosure) to run Debian Linux, OpenSSH and Samba.. Although this works pretty much as it should, it cost more than I would like it to have, and I would be much happier with an out-of-the-box solution. Does anyone know of a NAS unit that could provide the same capabilities as samba and openssh(particulary for scp transfers). Opitions and advice would be much appreciated.
