i've got dish tv and i'm happy with it. i have a high-def tv now and
i'm interested in upgrading one of my receivers to the 6000u receiver,
but i can't seem to find anyone that knows anything about what's
involved in doing so.

do i need a different dish?

where can i but the receiver?

whay are the 'other' attachments all about? do i need them or what?

i'm just looking for some straight information about all of this
stuff.

tia

you dont need new dishes or switches, of course you need a hd receiver
and an hdtv,

there are packs or something that are inserted in the back of the
receiver, i'm not sure what they do

call dish i'm sure they will be glad to help
