I have an Enermax EG465p-VE from a few years ago. It has been running a geforce fx 5600 athlonxp 3000+ and asus a7n8x deluxe for awhile now with no problems at all. Supposedly it delivers 460W.

Im replacing most of my old computer with one that will run some new games. Specs will be e6300 @ ~2.6ghz, Asus p5b p965, sapphire x1950xt and 2x1GB corsair xms2 PC2 6400.

Will I be able to stick with my old PSU? Or maybe its just generally smarter to upgrade it anyway?

also i know this isnt the right forum but im wondering if my old harddrive will slow my new computer down? i use a WD2000JB, specs can be found here: http://www.tomshardware.com/2002/1 [...] index.html

anything is appreciated <3
