I currently have a motherboard that has SATA 150. I'm looking to get a 500 gig hard drive. Will the SATA3.0G/s work with the motherboard I have now?

If not, what would anyone suggest? I will be getting a new motherboard probably in a year, so I don't want to get a SATA 150 drive.

Thanks

It will work, but read the drive label, to see if there is a jumper to set it to sata150. Most do.
