I doubt that is correct, your Northwood should have fried by now if it is true. check the volt reading in the bios and compare, and I am pretty sure you will see half that (1.5 I believe).

Don't worry, that's not the correct voltage; the CPU would have fried instantly at that level.

Will do. The machine goes through tons of load so I expect it to be somewhat high but man!

I'll check the bios and report back.

Also, before I worked here their motherboard fried due to over-heating, they replaced the motherboard. I'll report back though and let you know the details.
