hi. was wondering what could be the best video card for my Gateway FPD2275W 22" Widescreen High-Definition LCD monitor? i would prefer the least expensive one but still could utilize the native res of the monitor which is 1680 x 1050. am not really a gamer (well, i play sometimes call of duty - cool game by the way) but will be viewing movies with this monitor.
ops! 4got to mention. the monitor has both DVI and VGA connection, dont know which is better: PCI express or AGP. any will do cos i will still buy the CPU. am using my old CPU as of now. tnx again!!

This post of yours doesn't really make much sense as its hard to tell what it is that you are exactly saying.
At any rate if you are getting a new motherboard then it needs to be PCI Express as AGP is dead end. As far as your resolution is concerned I just hooked up my 22" LCD a couple of days ago as well and my Nvidia 8800GTX is right at home with this resolution. It runs Oblivion maxed out with 4XAA and 16XAF and the lowest I have seen the Frames get down to in the thickest part of the forest in that game was 45fps
