We have 3 laptops in this familly and cannot connect them all 3 to the wireless at the same time. When one gets on the network it boots the other one and so on!
Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem...anyone else ever have this problem?
If you are using a compatible card that matches the router it will every time. This router use the MIMO channel bonding to boost speeds. When actived it will knock all std 11g clients. You neet to turn off the MIMO function in the router and the compatable pcmic card. This way it will work as a std 11g product.
There are many articles on this site that explaing all of these problems, it also applies to the pre 11n products.
I don't recommend any of them. The bigger problem is that they keep pushing these products to market, knowing they will wreck havic on existing 2.4 ghz hardware. The FCC needs to step in and shut them down. But since it a public bandwith they will not.
If you just purchase the setup. Take them back and get a std 11g hardware, and get a refund. But dont buy the WRT54G version 5.
