To be honest I find your comments rather amusing, and I hope you like your topic or thread name as it seems appropriate for you guys, it would seem that some people deserve the comments they get from what they post but it can be easy to forget that at sometime we all had no knowledge about PCs when we first started,
Im not sure what response I will get with this topic but Im sure you guys will be entertaining and I look forward to it.

I think the thing that people new to the other forget is how much crap we went through in order to become an established member. If the OP was to search back a couple of years and see the stick that Tom gave me when I first landed then maybe he would start to understand that this is not a place full of bullies. Bullies single out an individual, we are not fussy

Would bullies help me stay positive when I was on the dole by sending me PM's, would they provide their expertise at the drop of a hat despite having just done a 14 hour day followed by a transatlantic flight? As somebody that has suffered from some serious bullying in my personal life I'll tell anybody that asks, these are NOT BULLIES!!

Nobody here goes after people by PM, nobody seriously wishes harm on any other person (even though they could never risk their hard man persona by admitting it!). No, this is a place where you have to establish your own credibility and character. It's like WoW, if a noob stumbles into the middle of a raid they'll get the crap kicked out of them.

Also very nice exit2dos well done, jason73 was my brother he used that name in my email to get access to this forum but is no longer intrested, hence I have now closed that account down and reopend in this name as I will be more active.

Im not sure why you guys hang around down here or is it because the top half of the forum as in like CPU & Componets as topics like (can you help me do I choose a AMD II 940 or a Intel i7 920), for which you never get a solid reply or solution to the question, just alot of PC buffins arguing about bench marks & trying to out do each other in there knowledge.

When I started with computers there wasn't an easy to use internet with a wealth of knowledge. When I got my first PC the guy who gave it to me also just gave me around 5 DOS commands. The rest I learned as time went through trial and error, friends etc.

Nowadays, you have the internet in all its glory and to make it more obscure a search engine that allows you to access such knowledge just by using plain English (UK English of fcukin course) as search criteria. Hell, it even suggests possible alternates to badly spelled phrases. So there's NO excuse (bar maybe access to the net) for not being apt with PC tech to a certain level - the problem is that people these days are just to darn lazy to do anything by themselves and prefer sugar coated explanations by asking asinine questions without even trying to search for some background.

I also think that "kids" these days are too pampered and contribute to a declining world social structure of laziness.
