I have upgraded from Windows 2000 to XP and i have something which plugs into the side of my laptop and connects to the internet via a wireless control plugged into the electricty mains. Excuse my lack of technical knowledge and jargon.
Anyway i cant connect to the internet now, it says the device is working but i cant seem to do anything with my laptop, is there something missing like a driver or something, i thought XP would automatically install everything i needed?

How about some brand names/model #s? You haven't given us anything to go on.

All we really needed was the brand and model # :) So, how about the information for the wireless router, etc now?
