Windows memory effect

My computer has been upgraded to XP Pro SP2. I just bought a USB Bluetooth
adapter in order to do ActiveSync with my pda phone and share the internet
connection. As SP2 has included Bluetooth enumerator, I did not install
Widcomm Bluetooth software 1.4.1 accompanied with the Bluetooth device. The
first time I plug the device into a USB port on the front of the computer
and it was detected and the Windows Bluetooth enumerator is installed. Upon
successfully installation, I move the adapter to a rear port and the
computer detect the adapter but does not install the Windows Bluetooth
enumerator. I tried to move back to the front port and it works. Can
someone advise me how to permanently remove the memory effect in the system
so I can redo it on the rear port.

Thanks for your advice. I tried without full success.

The Bluetooth Enumerator can be removed from the front port as per your
procedure. However, after I moved the device to the rear port and the
Bluetooth Enumerator was auto installed correctly. It works correctly after
rebooting but after I turned off the computer and switched on again, the
Bluetooth Enumerator disappeared on the device. The led indicator was
blanking as usual. I need to unplug the device and plug it again. The
Enumerator will appear again. That is to say I need to unplug and plug it
again on every power-on my computer. Any further advice is appreciated.
