Not to complain - my fault i know - but i again mistakenly deleted my discussion tracking
by hitting the 'Reset discussion tracking' thingy.....could you rename this to something like
"Delete all ..." or have a "are you sure' confirmation --- I bewt others have deleted accidentally also

You're lucky it works for you that well. Whenever I click it, I still see blue and yellow flags even after confirmation they have been deleted.

:fou:  I may be totally wrong on this topic... after looking further --- does it just reset the response flags? what does it do?

It depends which one you click. I use the "on new topics" option a lot, which just marks all threads in a forum as read. The other three will delete indicators on threads. The first deletes the blue flag on threads that you've replied to, the second deletes the red flag on threads that you've only read and the third clears your "favourite" threads (threads which you've explicitly marked as favourites).

It is context-based as well, so if you do it from within one section it will only affect threads in that section. If you do it from the forum root it will apply to the whole forum.

can you guys add a "this will do .... are you sure" confirmation .... it's now easy to hit accidentally and
is irreversible
