:p Isn't it? :D most of us still have DDR400 or DDR400 Dual-channel laying around why not just build a FX-60 System with 400$ laying around. And only spend about another 400$ for a 8800GTS to have a 800$ *Scraping the Roof* AMD FX System. Or just buy this and add any PCI-E ATI 1900-1950 for 200$ and have an even more bang for the Buck System for 600$(excluding Hard drive, RAM and Screen(assuming you already have that)).

Nice find but you still need:

HDD
VIDEO CARD
MEMORY

and I would not recommend using a no-name heatsink on a 2.6Ghz CPU!
Kind of iffy on the SIS chipset too, but maybe that's just me.

Other than that, yes it is nice. I am using a Gigabyte Socket939 w/4000+SanDiego and 2Gb of OCZ. I works like a champ, I have no reason to upgrade to AM2/C2D cause I run all the games BF2/Oblivion etc without a problem. Also ripping and other stuff runs great. No real compelling reason to upgrade, I would recommend S939 to anyone if they can get a good deal. The only thing is DDR400 prices aren't ever going to be a deal anymore, just go up, so if you can get a good price on the ram, go for it!

:D I guess your Welcome :p

I just saw 500$ on FX-60 Bare bone System with all the Parts and screws an i nearly Leaked myself. It was just a surprise. So i thought how many people still have Socket 939 and DDR400 and they would like to upgrade and don't want to go E6300-E6400 or the Low range Core 2 Duo they can juts go FX-60 and have bragging rights(since you can't get much better than this in AMD) :D

It's actually tempting to grab one so I can swap my 4400+ and 2GB RAM. Then I'll have two systems to sell when I upgrade to Vista Ultimate.

Good find.

nice deal, especially if u want to give it to someone as a gift. Too bad I dont have any relatives who would spend that amount of money on a gaming rig for someone.

BM:

Don't you think it's wrong for this to be sold so cheap? Damn AMD trying to ruin the marketplace by selling cpu's to vendors at such a low margin.
