My Micron MT16VDDT3264AG-265A1 256MB 266 MHz Memory dose not run on any motherboard with AMD processors Featuring VIA Chip sets. But it run Perfectly on Intel Processors with Intel Chip sets . i checked o intel 845 to 865

WHY WHY WHY?? plz explain any one knows a solution.

By Googling the part number, it seems to be specific to Dell computers. AFAIK, Dell computers of that era are all Intel-based. I wouldn't be surprised if Dell chose the specs to work on its Intel-based PCs without worrying if it would work on AMD systems. Dell has a reputation for often using specs that are slightly different from "industry-standard" specs.
