I am using the coolbits utility through the NVidia control panel and the program suggested running the memory at 900Mhz and core at 300Mhz

Doesn't 900 seem way to high for this card?

Anyway it's an old card, I figured I didnt have much to lose...so I tried it and ran CoH and gained 6 fps..and the card seemed rock solid. I played the game for a couple of hours.

Am I interpreting something wrong here or what? 900Mhz??? I think the manufacture default is 400Mhz??

It's DDR RAM, so it runs at twice its "raw" speed. 400MHz is probably the "raw" stock RAM speed (meaning 800MHz DDR), which would put your overclock at 450MHz, 900MHz effective.

The forum is flooded with this type of thing. You can use the search option to look for it or you can justfuckinggoogleit for your card and it's specs. I understand the confusion but this gets answered on a day to day basis. I didn't mean to be offensive in any way.
