Hello everybody, my first post here, hope it was in the right place :)

I got myself a used IBM 8275-326 (User guide in pdf). My problem is that the previous owner didn't not reset the configuration so the defualt login doesn't work and the user guide linked above only mention how to factory reset the switch when you are logged in. Another problem is that I have no idea what IP adress the switch is configured to use. The user guide only says that I should ask another user with read/write rights to give me a new pass or contact IBM. Both of this option doesn't seem to work becuse I don't know the previous owner and I can't find a contact e-mail on IBM website. The only way I've managed to get to the login screen is by connection the switch thru the RS-232 serial port and use the "HyperTerminal" in Windows XP.

Does anybody have any idea on how to factory reset this machine?
The user guide is for the 8275-318, 322 & 326 so any reset information regarding the 318 & 322 models might be useful.

Another question, is the IBM 8275-326 good or, powerful or something?
