Toched bottom of cpu while installing.

Am I screwed? It was an lga type.

You should be fine, unless you shuffled across a carpeted room and touched it while it was grounded. Plug it in and fire it up.

Just as long as you didn't bend any of the pins. Corrosion should not be a problem. You should be fine.

OMG u are so screwed, u know what this means? Your cpu is no longer a virgin! It will now go clubbing like crazy on the mobo, getting drunk with nb and sb m8ts and wont get any processing done cause the only thing in mind will be getting dirty with the foxy gpu.

Rule of thumb... when in doubt, SMOKE TEST!!!*

ADVANTAGES
1. Can take the chill off those cold winter mornings
2. Saves a TON on all that expensive complicated diagnostic equipment 8O

Do not touch its bottom as this can cause the computer to go down on you.

Also, please refrain from touching your external floppy.
