Is anyone running a rev 1 Gigabyte 965P S3 and a tuniq tower 120 ?

Did you have any problems with the fit of it, did any capacitors get in the way. Xbit when reviewing the Gigabyte 965P S3 said they had problems getting the tuniq tower to fit, because of a capacitor. (Not applicable to the DS3 as the capacitor there is smaller and they said it fits.)

Wanting to know as looking to get one for the rig in my signature below

Anyone. I would like to add an aftermarket heatsink as i feel my computer is running to hot.
The ambient temperature in my case is 40 degrees C
CPU idles at 48 degrees C (100% load for 6 hours gets to 68 degree C)
GPU runs at 50 degree C idle, 60 degree load.

The case is a thermaltake shark with the standard 12cm fan front and rear, and 2 8cm fans on the mesh part of the side. The back is an exhaust along with the 14cm fan in the power supply, and the front and two sides are all intakes.
The system is the one in my signature

hi.i have same core 2 same 8800(galaxy for me) and same mobo .i have also termaltake xaser 3 case with 2fan front,2 side, 1 up and 2 rear all 8cm.my cpu tem in idle is 42*C gpu with fan 60% 62*C my cpu runs at 9x333 about 3ghz.all your temp is good maybe cpu can go litle down.i have some asus cpu fan asus vr guard.why do you want a tuniq ?look at thermalright SI-128 with 120mm fan and you also cooling the northbridge, mosfet.or even an zalman or artic cooling is good choice.maybe you can t even close the case with tuniq inside... because is realy biiiig. tuniq height(pipeline until aluminium corps)5.5cm total height 15.5cm the case (to fit in there ) min.19cm.i think it would fit on your s3 mobo and termaltake case .

Looking at the tuniq tower as one of the best air coolers available, and will soon be able to get it cheap from a friend who is to become the australian distributor.
My case would fit it as has plenty of room (the shark is bigger than a mid tower but smaller than a full tower / server case.

Yes Xbit is correct, Tuniq Tower does not fit on the 965 S3 board. There is a capacitor blocking the H-plate by about 2 millimeters :(
