Please critique my proposed home build gaming rig

I was shooting for a fairly cheap (less than $900) build that is SLI enabled. video, but only one video card at this moment. It comes out to about $899 and about $830 after rebates. In a few months I'll slap in another video card. I play MMO's mostly, looking forward to Vanguard: SOH and did some EQ2 and WoW and Daoc.

  1. What would be a better video card?

And from a newbie point of view. Is the Processor you linked to better in some way or just cheaper over all.

I see that there is a combo with a mother board in your link. Is that Mobo any good?
  2. WOW! when did that come out?
  3. For the type of Gaming you want to do your system looks plenty good.

You could in fact though - get a better Vid card for the same cash - roughly.

BFG has the GT version for $139 at newegg... there are also some others ranging around the $150 mark(all 7600GTs)

    $50 more bucks and you could get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150216" rel="nofollow">The XFX PVT71GUQF3 GeForce 7900GT 256MB
  4. BFG Tech BFGR76256GTOCE GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3

$140 as quoted above but has $50 rebate.
  5. K, I did a search on that part number and found this.
