Was looking into getting one. I saw that they have to look up your credit history, but im only 19 and don't have any credit history only a checking and savings account. Since I have purchased over $1500 from newegg in the last year would that help me in getting one?

How 'bout applying for one and see what happens? What's the worst that could happen besides a pesky case of idenity theft. Your nineteen with no credit anyway. Step into the dark.

If you get one, they probably will not give you much to work with at first. If they deny you, a good way to establish credit is to pay bills, i.e. cell phone bill, etc...
