MY 50V500 Lcd Question

To replace the bulb you would take off the front panel. It's behind a door
off center to the left. And the Hitachi only has 1 bulb. I would think there
3 bulb advertisement was a misprint. I know that there light engine is
proprietary. Where did you see it advertised as 3 bulbs?

Yes the bulb is behind those screws. But the LCD tv only has one bulb not
three. Now there are three LCD panels, one for each color. That is maybe
what they are talking about, but that has nothing to do with bulbs.

The Hitachi glass stand isnt that bad, and in my are it's only $299, which
is better than the Sony rip you off stand.
