Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy (More info?)
I was curious to know, if a user is given local admin rights on their
workstation, are they still affected by the group policy settings and to what
degree? For example, I want to prevent users from accessing the control panel
or changing their display settings.
My probelm is that I have some applications that, for some reason, need
local admin rights to run properly. Making them a local power user does not
work.
Any thoughts to this question would very helpful. Thanks
