hi
I just bought a mitsu hdtv monitor 48313 and want tips on preventing
burns. I don't have a hdtv set top box yet and basically watching
only cable. Mitsu has standard, expand, stretch and stretch plus as
an option to view this type of broadcast. What format is the best to
prevent burn in's. I am using stretch plus at the moment.
thanks

You can't prevent burn-in - all the various stretch/zoom modes do is keep
the burn-in constistant across the whole screen.
The best way to minimize burn-in is to decrease the contrast setting to a
reasonable setting rather than the (usual) default setting of maximum
contrast.
