Hi Guys,

If possible can you reply to this post with details on the cool things
you do with your PocketPC and how you do them?

This way we can all prove our superiority over Palm users and people
who think PDAs are a waste or are usless...

Thanks a lot.

This is the best available list I can think of :

No, that would just prove what a sad Billy-No-Mates loser you were.

Stick to the facts and you should be OK though. The facts are that
people buy a device suited to their needs and lifestyle, if they feel
it fills a defined need. There is no "superiority" to be gained here.

Superiority? That is really sad.

The aim is to get something that suits your needs, can't you accept
that Palm's can suit other peoples needs, and paper diaries suit yet
other people. To each their own- and that is the best way.

Certainly sad, and possibly misguided. I have a Dell X30 High (624 MHz
etc), and compared to a friends Palm T5 his screen is larger, with
higher resolution, and frankly the OS is a lot quicker and more
stable. But, I'll stick with the X30, it's an excellent machine. I'm
just pointing out that Palm bashing tends to be from youngsters that
haven't had one or seen a recent one doing its thing!

Horses for courses. They've both damn good performers.

Alan,

I agree completely. I'm an iPaq 4155 user, but both my wife and my
(very smart) daughter chose a Palm Zire 72 for their personal use.
I'm put off by the Palm's time lag when opening apps with an SD storage
card inserted. A Pocket PC doesn't slow down at all with an SD card.
But that doesn't bother my wife and daughter. They love the ease of use
of the Palm. But they use their Palm maostly for appointments, contacts,
games, and images (Palm images do look better)....while I jam all sorts
of power apps onto my PPC. Plus, speed is important to me. We are all
perfectly happy with our choice. So you see, there is no right answer
to "mine is better than yours". If it does what you want, it's "the best"
for you.

I don't need to prove that my PPC is better than a Palm. I know it is.
Plus I'm not competing in a head-to-head competition.
