Hi

I wonder if my memory will require cooling or not

It will be 2GB of OCZ 800MHZ 4-4-4-12 2 sticks

The machine will be used for hours of heavy gaming, and general use

Will be on mostly 24/7

Does memory in general requires cooling or not?

No add-on coolers, if that's what you mean. Something like 2/3 of the heat is conducted away by the circuitry, and decent case airflow takes care of the rest.
