Moved user does not get new GPO settings

I moved a user from one container to another. Each
container had a different GPO. The user's Background tab
was hidden on the original GPO. Now, no matter what I do,
I can not get this users background tab to come back.

I have gone so far as to change this setting on both GPOs,
the original and the new. It works for everyone else but
this user. I have even tried putting this user back in
the original container (GPO) and allowing all to see
Background. Everyone but this user gets the tab back.

I have searched KB and newsgroups. Has anyone seen this
before?

It's a minor issue, but it seems like there should be a
solution.

This is so fluky. I may just end up creating a new user
account and deleting this one.

Hi Sheila

Are you able to clarify which tab you're referring to? Also, are you able
to give the group policy element that you're changing ...

User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> etc

Kind regards
