hello all

i have ASRock 775xfire-eSATA2+ motherboard fitted in with a D805 since i heard the cpu overclocks well i tried a little overclocking but an isssue came up.

thing is when trying to overclock i can only raise the fsb to 150mhz even if i raise it only by another 1mhz it locks up never can get past the 150mhz. i know the the motherboard is a bugdet one but it supports core duo the E4xxx series which run at 200mhz...

can anyone give me some advice, thx in advance!

512MB 533mhz, tried also with a stick of 512MB 667mhz same thing

Even though it supports Core2Duo at higher FSB/lower vCore, the motherboard's lack of vCore adjustability(can't increase much) is holding you back. If you could find a volt-mod for the mobo, your overclocks would go up(with proper cooling). So, i think you're stuck in that general clock-speed area. GL :)

thx 1Tanker

vCore came to mind but i wasn't sure so that's why i came here.

i thought that first it would be a little unstable but still start like when i increased that 1mhz, thx again for clearing me out!
