I have Question about supported ram speeds ..for example on a 478 motherboard with Celeron 2.4 with a 533FSB ..PC3200 ram (400mhz)..will be ran at 2700 speed (333mhz) but with a Pentium4 3.2 E 800mhz 400mhz ram can run at its normal speed...

also...will that mobo @ processor support that ram at all.. 533 3-3-3-9 over the 667 at 5-5-5-15 if i could get 667 with with 4-4-4-12 for the same price in a brand I feel i can depend on I would not worry about the latency but I feel the difference is substantial...I know that the 667 would prolly be better for file conversions and map loading but I am more worried about actual in Game performance..where there are fast changes..games like eq2 and similar games....and some FPS's Like 2142 and PlanetSide.. will that dif in latency on slower RAM Help more than the speed of the the 667 RAM???

With my config above what limits do I have on RAM speed..
Do I have to have a CPU with 1066 to use 667mhz ram at its actual speed ect

Update: Mushkin 667 3-3-3-10 model number 991509

Will this Ram work at its full potential with this system...???

For almost the same price, you can get a Core 2 Duo E6300 that will be MUCH faster.

This is an obsolescent MB from a low-end brand. Look for a better quality MB that will support C2D CPUs; a number are available in the $150 range. Crossfire/SLI capability is not useful in practice for 99% of users.

This looks like a junky PS from a no-name brand. Here's something much better:
