Hi, Im not from the US and will be there for a week or so. I'm planning on buying most of my pc components while I'm there from Newegg.

I will order them and get it delivered to my hotel.

I want the system mentioned on Toms OC guide Part 3.

E6400

Gigabyte Ds3 Motherboard

Cant find the OCZ 2x1GB PC2-6400 System Dual ELite Ram at Newegg.
Can some help me or even suggest an alternative.

Dont know which 8800GTS to choose can some help with a cost saving suggestion. Did see the XFX 8800gts but not sure how good it is ( $399)

Antec Trio 550 PSU ( $99.99)

All suggestions and help welcome.

Please reply soon as I order tomorrow.

Does anyone know how warranties would work since I'm not from the US?

Thanks

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817341001 - Get that power supply. Basing this recommendation on the tiered PSU list in Mplich's sig. It's rated as a high quality PSU (tier 2, no tier 1s are available at close to your price), it suits your power needs, and it's cheaper (with MIR) than that crappy PSU you're currently planning on.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130071 - That video card. (Yes, I'm an EVGA fanboi, their customer service is excellent, and good customer service is underappreciated in America today). It's a great price (369.99 after MIR) for a great card. EVGA may offer support for items overseas. A bit of googling should get you the information you need.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145034 - That RAM. Don't take my word for it. I have no clue about the difference between RAM manufacturers. I have this XMS2 in my new system with an EVGA 680i Mobo, and it works excellently for overclocking. Didn't have to change the timings to get to stable 3.4 Ghz on an E6600. No errors in memtest86.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot. If you're planning to get a big OC stable you're going to want an aftermarket cooler.

Easy install lowest price recommendation: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835186134 This will probably outperform the stock cooler by 20c. It doesn't require you to mount a backplate on your mobo.

High performance recommendation: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835154001
This will keep your OCed E6400 at about 45-50c at full load with a stress test program (from what I've heard). It's the most highly recommended aftermarket cooler around. I've read that a person skilled at handling computer parts can expect to install it on their Mobo in about an hour.
